Four people with affiliations to Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) were awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in this year’s King’s Birthday Honour List.
EFNLHN Governing Board Chair Michele Smith was recognised for service to medical administration, Cummins GP Dr Gerard Quigley for service to medicine, cardiologist Dr Philip Tideman for significant service to rural and remote medicine, and EFNLHN’s Clinical Governance Committee member Peter Blacker for service to the community through a range of jobs.
