Eyre Peninsula cyclists can have their say in a national bike safety project.
BikeSpot has launched an interactive cycling safety map that allows people to identify locations where they feel safe, or unsafe, while riding.
Anthony Aisenberg from CrowdSpot says the project will help provide better information to authorities about where safety improvements can be made.
“I notice that decisions around the locations for safe cycling improvements weren’t really going to where the people wanted them or needed those improvements, Mr Aisenberg says.
“BikeSpot aims to capture the knowledge of the crowd where people can add a safe spot or an unsafe spot to an interactive map and share their cycling safety experiences with the community and planners and advocates.”
