The Motor Trade Association Cleve Training Centre was visited by Minister for Education, Training and Skills Blair Boyer yesterday, 14 December.
The Minister visited the Eyre Peninsula facility to explore the expansion project benefiting the region.
With around $400,000 of state funding, MTA media manager Kaes Cillessen says the organisation is upgrading its training centre and offering additional apprenticeships.
“The Eyre Peninsula will be at the heart of automotive technology and opportunity thanks to the state government funding, he says.
“Through the Skills Centre Pilot Program, the MTA will be able to offer additional apprenticeships and expand our scope of training by making the facility a full-time operation.”
