Online workshops, aimed at girls between 10-18, are looking to bring more young women into the tech industry.
The Academy for Enterprising Girls is offering free online courses across a range of business and STEM-related subjects.
Chief Executive of the Tech Council Kate Pounder says it’s a great opportunity for girls to take charge.
“I grew up in regional communities and I know that sometimes you have a passion but you don’t always have as much access to services and resources as you might get in a bigger city, Ms Pounder says.
“The great thing about this program is it’s really accessible to anyone anywhere in Australia, and for any local residents, I’d really encourage you to hop online to enterprisinggirls.com.au.”
