A man allegedly tested positive for meth and cannabis after crashing into a tree on the Lincoln Highway at Tiatukia yesterday, 20 June.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 8:30 am on Thursday when the car towing a trailer lost control and crashed.
Police say the trailer was poorly loaded, which contributed to the collision.

The 33-year-old driver from Grange and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman from Osborne, were uninjured.
The driver has been issued with an expiation notice for driving unlicensed, failing to maintain effective control, and having an insecure load.
