The Boston Football Club has moved on to the next stage of the Federal Government’s ‘Play Our Way’ program.

The program provides $200 million in funding for women’s sports facilities nationwide.

President of the football club Tony Baj says they hope to secure $1.2 million to build unisex changerooms at Poole Oval.

“This project of building some unisex changerooms at Poole Oval is more than just for Boston Football Club – this is for the town, Mr Baj says.

“There’s not a single facility in town at the moment that has unisex changerooms in any sport.

“Council, Port Lincoln Football League, and Port Lincoln Soccer want to host State Country Championships in the next few years, so we need ovals that meet standards.”

Boston Football Club is one of 270 organisations to make it to the next round.
