Police are telling us to “lock it or lose it” as opportunistic thieves have been breaking into cars in Whyalla Jenkins.
Thieves struck in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 16 April, stealing cash, wallets and car keys left inside vehicles.
Whyalla police have issued a list of reminders:

- Lock your vehicle doors and close windows
- Install and activate an alarm or immobiliser
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle
- Park off the road and if possible in a locked garage
- Whilst at home keep your keys in a safe location
- Do not leave spare keys in your vehicle
