A local woman lost her licence on the weekend after crashing her car in Streaky Bay while drink driving.
Between 12-1am on Saturday, 19 August, police responded to reports of a car driving over a curb on Alfred Terrace before crashing into a concrete retaining wall.
The vehicle was extensively damaged and the alleged driver left the scene but was found nearby.

The 56-year-old woman submitted to a roadside breath test and returned a positive reading.
She lost her licence on the spot for twelve months and her car was towed from the scene.
She’ll appear in court at a later date.
