Ag Communicators Pty Ltd are holding a workshop at Minnipa next month to take a light-hearted look at how to achieve a work-life balance for Eyre Peninsula farmers.
Organisers say big crops and rain delays made the 2022-23 season last longer, and seeding for the 2023 season began with no time to relax in between.
The interactive farmer-led discussion will cover what work-life balance is in a farming context, why it’s hard to achieve, why it’s important, and what practical changes can be made to improve lives.
Mallee farmer John Gladigau will lead the discussion, and there will be entertainment from ‘Kick of ya Boots’ and singing agronomist Chris McDonough during dinner.
