Four men arrested over Port Lincoln crime spree

Four men have been arrested in a stolen car after a crime spree over the weekend.

Police responded to reports of a vehicle acting suspiciously on Panoramic Drive in Boston at about 10am on Sunday morning.

The vehicle was believed to be a white 2015 Toyota Landcruiser that had been reported stolen from a home in Port Lincoln earlier that morning.

The Landcruiser was also involved in a petrol drive off at about 5:30am.

Police conducted a search of the area and spotted the Landcruiser on the Tod Highway heading north towards Cummins at about 11:45am.

It was later seen again on Bratten Way heading towards Tumby Bay.

Police used road spikes but the car continued driving, later stopping near the silos in Tumby Bay.

Four people ran off and allegedly gained entry to a home on Bratten Road while its occupant was home.

All four were soon arrested and charged.

Two 32-year-old men from Port Lincoln, one 34-year-old man from Port Lincoln and a 31-year-old man from Ceduna have been refused police bail and will front the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court today.

Police believe the four are also linked to other recent crimes in Port Lincoln.
