If you want to save lives, you can roll up your sleeve for Lifeblood – the crew rolling into Port Lincoln from 6-10 May.
Lifeblood’s Zoe Ross says they will set-up at the Port Lincoln Bowling Club, and you can register your attendance online or via the Donate Blood app.
“The Port Lincoln community really rallies around and shows their support, saving thousand of lives over the years, Ms Ross says.
“One in three people need blood, but only one in 30 actually donate, so if it’s something you’ve thought about doing before, now’s the time.
She encourages us to roll up our sleeve and give the gift of live.
“Thirty-four per cent of donated blood is actually used by people undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders, and as the population’s rising, the number of donors isn’t.”
