The Lower Eyre Council is accepting applications for two annual grant programs – the ‘Community Project Grant’ and the ‘Community Halls Support Program’.
The Community Project Grant is open to not-for-profit groups to improve community infrastructure.
Last year’s winners were the Tulka Progress Association which received $15,000, and Cummins District Memorial Swimming Pool which secured $7,128.

The Community Halls Support Program assists community groups in maintaining or upgrading their hall.
Nine groups took home $550 last year, including Yeelanna Memorial Association, Mount Hope Soldiers Memorial Hall, and Coffin Bay Progress Association.
Applications close on 4 September.
