A brand new multimillion-dollar sports facility will start construction in Whyalla in the coming months.
Construction is set to begin on the project in the coming months, with a goal to create more jobs for skilled workers in the region.
The state government has also pledged $6 million to the facility.

The project will include a state-of-the-art soccer pitch, football oval and a new clubhouse with a kitchen and change rooms.
The announcement comes amid uncertainty in the city over the fallout of the failed Steelworks, which is currently going through administration.
