The City of Port Lincoln will commence recruiting for a new Chief Executive Officer soon as current CEO Matthew Morgan plans to leave in August for a role in the private sector.
Mr Morgan says he feels honoured and grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside a committed group of elected members.
He’s built strong relationships with the community, state government and other agencies, and has been involved in projects such as securing UniHub Spencer Gulf, the Whait Reserve Upgrade, and the Foreshore Project.
Port Lincoln Mayor Diana Mislov says Mr Morgan has been instrumental in planning and securing funding for projects around Port Lincoln, and the next CEO will have a strong foundation to build from.
