The Whyalla foreshore will have new bathroom facilities soon, with works set to begin in July or August.
Mayor Phill Stone has advised they’ll be located alongside the Visitor Centre.
“It will be totally building code compliant, disability compliant, much safer, much better, more modern, and fitting for us,” Mayor Stone says.

The Mayor says he understands this replacement has been a long time coming.
“We have to balance the priorities, these new toilets, you’re talking about a cost of around about $340,000.”
