New research released for Rural Road Safety Month has uncovered the escalating risks being taken by drivers on our rural and regional roads.
More than half of drivers surveyed admitted to breaking rules when travelling on rural roads.
It comes as the 2023 road toll stands at 77 – six more than all of last year.
