The state’s sixth shark attack in 12 months has prompted calls for action to protect South Australian surfers and swimmers.
The most recent attack took place in Elliston, where local teacher Murray Adams was bitten on Tuesday, 9 January.
The incident came less than two weeks after a shark attack claimed the life of 15-year-old Khai Cowley near Ethel Beach on the Yorke Peninsula.

A round table will be held next month in a bid to prevent future attacks, with shark-proof swimming areas and tagging up for discussion.
