Over $110,000 is available for locals to put towards environmental protection and landscape management projects across the region.
The Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board has opened its Grassroots Grants program, with small community grants up to $5,000 and large community grants up to $15,000 available for local landholders.
In 2022, the board funded 11 projects that focused on several landscape management issues, ranging from removing pest plants, revegetation, protecting sand dunes and repopulating an endangered species.
