The Whyalla Steelworks will be out of action for a couple days.
The blast furnace has been taken offline again today, with administrators forcing the shutdown for maintenance.
Energy and Mining Minister Tom Koutsantonis told the ABC the shutdown will allow for urgent works to the furnace.

It’s set to be offline for 36 hours.
It’s been just three months since the furnace resumed operations, after a months-long shutdown last year.
There are now fears over the Steelworks’ financial viability, with administrator Korda Mentha warning they do not have sufficient funding to keep the plant operating for twelve months.
Mr Koutsantonis said the State Government would top up the funding for the administrator if needed.
