Whyalla’s first ever Readers and Writers Festival will be held later this month.
Held at the Whyalla Public Library, the ‘Raw Festival’ will see nine visiting authors from across the state join local authors and creatives for a full weekend of author talks, workshops and panel discussions, from the 14th to the 16th of April.
In a statement, Mayor Phill Stone said they’re excited to have a wonderful line-up of incredible talent – both visiting and locals – to support the festival.
He says the event will encourage the love of stories, celebrate diversity and inspire creative thinking.
