Two youths have been arrested following reports of a disturbance in Port Lincoln overnight.
Police were called to Tasman Terrace just before midnight, after it was reported that a group a youths had allegedly thrown rocks at windows in an attempt to gain entry into a closed hotel.
Following a search of the area, police located the group on the foreshore where one youth allegedly assaulted a police officer.

Two 14-year-old girls from Port Lincoln were arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour and one being further charged with assault police and resist arrest.
They will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
